Nohlab took a part in a unique project The Sea-Crossed Fisherman: Total music theatre, an opera in four scenes by Michael Ellison, which was held in Süreyya Opera House, İstanbul during IKSV Music Festival in 2016.
Celebrating Istanbul, its seas and marine life, The Sea-Crossed Fisherman was adapted from Yaşar Kemal's novel of 1978, a powerful lyrical and dramatic music theatre that weaves Turkish traditional instruments into a contemporary musical and theatrical setting with breathtaking visual experience.
Nohlab designed the installations on stage, as well as creating content and performing live during the event.
