ART RECIDENCY - LUNCHMEAT FESTIVAL, PRAGUE

May 7, 2013

The main visualists and also the artistic residents of this year’s Lunchmeat Festival are the NOHlab duo, formed in 2011 by Candas Sisman and Deniz Kader. Their work transcends the common media usage and through innovative blending of seemingly disparate elements they create unique works located somewhere between 3D animation, videomapping, interactive design and sound design. At Lunchmeat the renowned studio will take care of the visual appearance of the Clark performance.

Change is heralded by many as one of the chief aspects of life – and also the 4th edition of Lunchmeat festival has undergone some major changes. The audiovisual event of the year is now to be fully concentrated into one day - 26th of April - and it has also changed it’s traditional venue along the way; Lunchmeat festival is moving from Meetfactory to a brand new and unique location. This year’s edition will take place in the former cinema in the underground of National Gallery, right in the centre of Prague.

Nevertheless, the main aim of Lunchmeat festival remains unchanged – to present the organic fusion of the most innovative names in contemporary electronic music in collaboration with the most forward thinking visual artists and VJs. Once again you should expect marvelous audiovisual experience for your glistening pleasure – without any compromises.
